Quiet Book Poll

Quiet Books keep entering my life. A few years ago I made a sad, little one, that was fine, but nowhere close to what I had envisioned. Then 2 years ago my friend forwarded this blog to me and I got all excited, but I did nothing about it. Nothing, that is, until this Thanksgiving. I went nuts and worked like crazy -- staying-up-until-1-am-crazy. I also mentioned it to everyone I talked to. Then I talked with a women who had never heard of a quiet book. How could this be? Were there really children who didn't grow up keeping busy (and quiet) with quiet books? So now I'm curious, what are your quiet book memories? Or take the poll...

Birthday

Greg says that in actuarial terms Baby Yoda has made it through the toughest year, because he just turned ONE!
Nana, Grandpa and Aunt Rebekah braved the snow to come and sing to him. He really enjoyed it.I purposely made a chocolate cake because I wanted it to show up in pictures, but
he barely touched it! Crazy. Reminiscent of his sibling lack of mess making.
Mimi's first birthday.
Parker's first birthday.
Super fun.
As soon as I can figure out the videos again, I'll post his little dance with all the toys that play music.

Pay back

Parker, yelling at the TV, as an on-screen opponent did something mean to him in a video game:"You'll pay for that!"
Mimi:"How much?"
