What Mimi wore, plus Parker

This day I wanted to document Parker's classic look, too.

Yoda Yells

After I brushed the snow off of the car, Yoda yelled:"Did you paint the car?!"

Talking about the radio, Yoda yelled:"Can you turn it off and talk to me about sleep?"

After stubbing his toe, Yoda yelled:"I got blood over the place!"

_____________

I follow a blog where the woman occasionally shows what she wore to church or otherwise.  She has cute clothes, I do not, but Mimi does.  So occasionally I'm going to show off her super-cute clothes in this new segment called...

We'll have to work on her shoe collection next :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Mimi keeping it real with the crazy outfits.  And yes, she went to school this way.  Let the 6th graders laugh, she won't hear me telling her to change:)

Money

Mimi is figuring out money. She got some from the tooth fairy. She's got some change from other places. The money resides in her piggy bank. She shakes the bank for fun.

Back on the half birthday she asked if she could bring some money and come with Parker and me to the store. I said yes. She went upstairs and picked out her money like she's choosing a soccer team, not at all concerned about how much money is in her hand. She came down the stairs with $2.53.

At Toys R Us, she was looking for something to buy. She saw some Littlest Pet Shop animals for about $3.50. I told her the price, and she moved on. I said she had more money in her bank. She told me, "I'm not giving them any of that."

The next time we went to Toys R Us she came down with $3.68 and a 2 Euro coin.

While in the car on the way to church, she asked the woman riding with us, "Do you have moneys?"

The woman said yes.

Mimi said "I have more coins than the green long paper ones."

The woman said, "Me too."

And in case you thought all this mature money talk has changed her style. The picture below is the counterargument.

Camouflage

This was such a terrible week, it made me want to hide. Maybe when I recover I'll go into the details.

(This is Mimi pretending to be a dinosaur and eating leaves. I nearly wet my pants laughing at this. I'm sure she didn't realize how perfectly she blended in, but it made me laugh, so I'm sharing. Also, she dressed herself. I find that when her clothes look like they almost match, then grown ups will know it's my fault, but if it looks like this, well, then everyone will know it was her creative genius at work.)

Just as a hint of sorts, here's Greg showing the kiddos his stitches. They were fascinated.

And so this isn't the worst post ever, here's Baby Yoda doing something cute.

checking the score

Polka dot comes out of nowhere to take the lead:3! This girl LOVES polka dots! Again, how can I blame her? I also love them. Here I am in the early 90's happily wearing them. Now I just wish I had photo proof like this of the pair of stretch, polka dot pants that I wore in high school...

Another Score

Stripes are in the lead:2

Mimi, talking about her outfit that she picked out all by herself:"I look nice."

I love the wild combination of stripes and colors--I can't blame her--you all know we love stripes! We got many laughs at Costco today.

We don't have back yard furniture yet, so we pulled out some folding chairs to eat lunch. First Mimi dragged out the crackers, then she dragged out her own chair--such independence.
