Some D&D

The plan was to take a few days off to go backpacking, but too many things got in the way.  Greg still took some time off, but they played many, many hours of Dungeons and Dragons!

Did I show off my custom Dungeon Master screen?  I could use some work, but it gets the job done :)

Me, "I'm not sure about this new hair cut", "I don't know if I know how to style this new haircut", "This haircut isn't good, I don't like it", and on and on...

Greg, after many days of this, "I don't know how to talk to you about your haircut"

Me...

Mimi, "I told my friend she should be an Elf for Halloween.  But NOT a Christmas Elf, that would be silly, I mean a High Elf."

Me, "wha...?"

Greg, "She means an Elf from Dungeons and Dragons"

After the Natural History Museum

On to the Met and the Brooklyn Bridge!

These guys were finding weapons similar to Dungeon and Dragons. 

 

Crossing the Brooklyn Bridge.  Yoda and I had a tough time feeling calm while crossing, but we stayed brave together.  

 

 Yoda, "why did people write their names here?"

 

 After crossing the bridge we texted Sonya that we needed to climb a tree before heading to the subway and back to her place. 

 The subway has green Pokeballs--they're everywhere!

Train ride back, we were exhausted!

Mimi's game

It's a mixture of rolling dice, and drawing doodles from a book....I'll let her explain in this video....

She didn't know I was filming her at first, she thought I was getting ready for a photo, but she kept talking so I started filming.  It worked out well :)

Dungeons & Gibbys

It happened... our kiddos have been introduced to Dungeons and Dragons.  Mimi drew some pictures!

Mimi is a half-orc/half-human named Myev.  Parker is a dark Elf named Thoran.  Yoda is a dwarf named Flint.  Anton is a guy in their team. 

 And here they are playing and having a great time rolling their dice!
