School Supplies

Tomorrow Superman starts KINDERGARTEN!!! I'll report on that tomorrow.

Today I went to 5 stores to get just the right stuff. It may be that I'm overly obedient to lists provided to me, it may be because I want Superman to have the best, or it may be because in the 5th grade I was so happy to bring these really cool folders to class only to have my teacher point them out to the entire class as the EXACT WRONG folders to have.

Parts of Boston

We'll miss going to Friendly's and...

Celebrating with Sonya on her birthdays.
Happy Birthday Sonya!
I'm sure there will be more things that I will blog about missing about Boston. Not sure why my children are dressed like they are in these pictures.

dinner conversation

Superman's belly:*weird noise*
Greg:"Is that your belly?"
SM:"Yes, I think it's saying 'thanks for the food'. "

SM:"I'm super crazier then them, because I'm a superhero."

When packing the house I forgot to leave out toys for the trip and the time we would be in temporary housing, luckily McDonald's helped us out.

move up date

We are on schedule, and by on schedule I mean in complete chaos! Our stuff is packed and we are cleaning out the house. As we packed, someone high-fived the flour.

So the cubes are packed and GONE! We are sad to leave Boston and completely exhausted.

One miracle: it didn't RAIN today!!!

packed and ready to go

Not really, but Mimi thinks she's ready to go. Seasonal bulbs and an empty back pack, yup, that's just about all I want to pack either.

Here the kiddos play in the "cube" that will hold 1/3 of our belongings. We have 3 of these things on our lawn and driveway. Tomorrow the movers are coming to fill them up.

Another benefit of moving: stages all over the house--whose child IS this?

The Jedi next door

Superman will really miss this kid.
Random, but I couldn't resist, this giant rubber band just fell to this position.

Jack

Mimi: wearing a plastic hat from Jack's birthday party that Superman went to:"ha ha"
Superman:"hey, that's my hat from Jack's party! You can't wear it, *You don't know Jack!*"
Me:LOL!
Superman:"Why are you laughing, she doesn't know Jack!"

Me:*Yawn*
SM:"Are you tired?"
Me:"yes"
SM:"Are you sleepy-tired, or hot-tired?"
Me:"Not sure what that means, but probably both"

The Circle Is Now Complete

Some of you may know that Greg and I fell in love in the day of Grunge, while wearing cool t-shirts and Converse All-Stars. Aunt Sonya bought these to Superman yesterday, he won't take them off!

Benefits of moving

Since this is a blog to help me focus on the positive and funny things in life, I thought I would try to do that with one of my least favorite things in the world.

Benefits of moving:

Mimi finding a "wow-Princess Leia" outfit, that I bought for someone else and forgot to give to them before I had a girl.
Trying to ruin a perfectly good (and free) book box.
Meeting nice people.

Going up and down stairs and getting rock hard thighs (I wish).
