I saw Batman today

He usually works in black and gray

He still looked mean,

A little something

Mimi was sick for a few days and had to stay home from school.  But as soon as the Tylenol would take effect, she was super energetic again.  I caught her rocking out to this song at a good moment.

Winter Activites

This is a rough winter.  But I'll say this now while in the middle of it... I'd rather have a rough winter then a crazy hot summer.  

Of course, I don't enjoy being trapped in the house for any reason.  Somehow if it's snow, wind and freaking cold air trapping us in the house, I'm less sad about it.   6 months from now the sun will be shinning, the grass will be green and we'll be trapped in the house because it so absurdly hot outside.

So the things we have been doing to keep sane...

 Mimi's selfie with her doll and bracelets she has made. 

 Testing out the easy bake oven.

 Of course sledding in the front yard. 

 And a mush snow man.  A few days after she made this she marveled that it was still standing.  "I don't know how he does it!" 

 Bathtub bubble beard. 

 Yu-gi-oh dueling. 

 Puzzles. 

Baking cookies and general silliness.

Parker plays the Cello

 Parker started Cello this Fall and loves it.  

This was the first concert of the year, after just a few months of learning. 

 By the end of the night Mimi was pretty tired!
