Yoda has ready to be a scout for a while, and now he is!

Mimi's in 6th grade and learning more interesting music this year.

I know the video is quite fuzzy, but the music is nice :)

Blimp Sighting

We are right on the flight path of the Goodyear Blimp.

 Yoda ran up on this little play house in our neighbor's yard to get a little closer for his picture!

We've seen it about once a year since we've lived here, but this time seems the closest.  For other Blimp sightings click here.

Sick

Right before Thanksgiving, Yoda was very sick. 

 While waiting, "I know why they call this the waiting room"

"This room is very small."

Doctor, "Let's check your ears to see if there's anything wrong in them... Whoa!  You can wiggle them!"

This was in the elevator on the way to the car.  I was cracking up at his new trick!

Day after Thanksgiving

We headed to the the Hopewell Culture National History Park. 

It was cool to see the earth mounds and read about the history of the people who used to live here.  The weather was perfect. 

 Of course we found a diner and had grilled cheese and something called corn nuggets?  

 

 But later we were kicking ourselves that we didn't eat here, we must go back!

 We also visited a city park that has a working farm and old toys for kids to play with.

It's Greg, he's 42!  (that's a reference to the great book, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy)

 We went to Costco, just the 2 of us, cause that's what you do in Ohio when you're 42.

 We had cake with his parents and opened a few presents.

Halloween Roundup

We kept it more low key then ever this year, but they still had fun...

 

 School parade, we didn't get a good photo of Mimi. 

 The ward Trunk or treat was a little cold, but Mimi was into it.

 Yoda left the older crowd and met up with a younger group of kiddos from the neighborhood.
