High Adventure 2019

Another year, another week in the woods in West Virginia.

I tagged along with the middle school on their field trip to entertain the elementary schools they used to attend. 

Mimi's Mural

Years ago, Aunt Sonya gave the kiddos a pack of paper, that when pieced together it would create a fun mural.  Mimi spent time during church each week carefully coloring in the pictures and making sure that when they were put together the colors would match up. 

She finished coloring, taped it together, and while she was away one weekend I thought I'd surprise her by hanging it up.  She wasn't that impressed since she had done most of the work :)

Parker Talking about going to Europe (Finally)

 I hacked my parents bank account so I could go to Europe. Here are some pictures I took and stole from my teachers

Mimi and Greg switched glasses for a minute to see if I would notice.  It took me a minute for sure :)

Chess

We should play it more often, but there's just too many things to do everyday!

Yoda and Greg spent the day at a chess tournament a few weeks ago.  They both had a great time! 

Smile, the Musical

As I was putting together the post about the musical that Mimi was in last month, I realized I never posted about the musical that Parker was in last fall!

I don't have a lot of photos, it was too intimidating to take photos during this one.  But here are some fun photos from afterward...

Parker played "Freddy", a naughty teenager that gets into some trouble.  He had fun and did a great job!

Singin' in the Rain

Mimi had a blast as Dexter in Singin' in the Rain.  I do not get how/why my kiddos like to be on stage, but they do.  Even little Yoda whispered "I want to be on stage crew, cause I'm quick and quiet"

Wax Museum

It can be used in a sentence when describing a luxerful hotel, for example! 

Paris

Our Parker is across the world in France right now. 

Hopefully he will tell us tons when he gets back and he'll have loads of photos.  But for how, he's the smiling hooded kid in the back. 

So Much Pokemon

Pokemon is relentless, just when I think we've out grow it, it comes back again.  This is a book that Mimi and Yoda were looking through and Mimi thought this was the best Pokemon ever.  (Sorry to those that I already shared this with)

We got a good laugh out of it!
