Mimi fell in love with cowboy boots on our last trip to Utah, so Granddad gifted her a pair of boots when we got back to Ohio...

Best Summer EVER!

It never really got that hot!  Today it's supposed to be 90 degrees for the first time I can remember!

But because it never got that hot we didn't do some of the hot things on our Summer List.  No lake, no washing the car, I think we played in the sprinkler one time. 

So out of 61 things I had in mind to do this summer we did a total of 23!  Bummer!

One last thing!  Parker made a goal to ride his bike 50 miles this summer and he did it! 

First Day of School 2014

 Mimi is riding her horse to school this year, can't see it?  "Oh, that's because it's invisible!" 

 6th Grade!!!!

Yoda is NOT on his way to school, but he was NOT going to be left out!  He packed a lunch and took his backpack with him on our walk.

 Mimi found some boots and wore them the rest of the trip.

 We got some quality time with Baby H! 

 We had a little party for my parents 50th wedding anniversary.  

We thought, "cake?  pie?  what should we make?  a giant cookie!" 

Tina did a great job! 

We had a funny game, it was Sonya's idea, I gathered lots of silly memories from when we were kids and we all guessed to see who did what.  There were lots of things to remember and laugh about. 

 We had a family favorite: Hot Dog Pizzas!

Basically the cousins were all totally exhausted after each day of activities.  Here they are watching Kung Fu Panda. 

Then on the DVD extras there was a thing about dancing or Kung Fu or something and suddenly they were up and moving again!
