It was a warmish day and no one had plans for an hour or so, so we hauled everyone to the park. They pretended to be upset, but then there was all this ice to play with.
More memories, the lesson here is that sometimes you don't particularly want to do something, do it anyway and find out it can be fun. It happens to me all the time still.
