Mimi refused to eat dinner for 45 minutes, we had even cleaned everything up. By the time she was convinced the only way she was going to get milk before bed, or to play guitar with dad, was to eat food first. She got up to the table and said (with shock and awe):"It all eaten up!" It took a minute to calm her down again.
After eating her allotted amount of dinner:"now, I can have some milk?"
After drinking her milk:"now, I can play guitar with daddy?"
Greg played the guitar but was not singing, Mimi:"Where are the words?"
I love that she did not try to talk you into milk without food, but was upset that the food wasn't there so she could obey the rules.
